Bleumi Pay Now Supports Algorand Blockchain for Payments and Payouts
Bleumi Pay by Bleumi Inc, a non-custodial digital currency payment platform for internet businesses, has completed the integration with the Algorand blockchain protocol to support ALGO, any Algorand Standard Asset (like Tether USDT, USDC), and any Algorand-based Central Bank Digital Currency, e.g. Marshallese Sovereign, and its corresponding payments and payouts, including microtransactions.
Bleumi Pay offers powerful integration tools for businesses of all sizes—from startups to enterprises—to integrate digital currency payments and payouts without worrying about the complexities of digital currency payment validations and error handling.
Bleumi Pay on Algorand now supports payments via e-commerce plugins WooCommerce, Adobe Magento, OpenCart, ZenCart, DrupalCommerce, and OsCommerce. Businesses can now simply download the plugins and start accepting digital currency payments. Bleumi Pay can be invoked by API, SDK, and POS.
Payouts functionality can be used to send digital currency payouts to employees, contractors, third-party service providers, royalty holders, licensees, game-winners, peer-to-peer transactions, and other payout scenarios around the world.
“Algorand has been a great partner,” said Thomas Arul, CEO, and co-founder of Bleumi. “Their protocol offers unprecedented levels of performance and speed at a fraction of the cost compared to other competing networks, which is essential for everyday payments and payouts use cases. We are also excited about the opportunity to support Algorand-based Central Bank Digital Currencies on Bleumi Pay.”
“Simplified payments solutions that provide opportunities for businesses and consumers to interact faster and more efficiently is game-changing for all parties involved,” said W. Sean Ford, COO of Algorand. “Bleumi is making great strides in this area with their enhanced functionality and ability to break down barriers for digital currency adoption.”
