Fancurve and Real Betis Balompié Kick off New Partnership
Blockchain-enabled digital sports fashion platform Fancurve, and top La Liga football club Real Betis Balompié, announced a groundbreaking, three-year partnership to create digitally wearable jerseys for fans. Through this first-of-its-kind agreement, Real Betis and Fancurve will help introduce club followers to the benefits of Web3 through custom collections and offerings. The first of multiple Betis-inspired kits will drop on June 7, 2022, marking Fancurve’s debut club-themed collection.
Based in Seville, Spain, Real Betis Balompié are enjoying a standout season in the top tier of Spanish league football. In April 2022, the team won its first Copa del Rey trophy in 17 years, and is currently battling for Champions League qualification near the top of the La Liga table.

The officially licensed Betis jersey collection, which will be sold exclusively on the Fancurve platform, celebrates this season of on-pitch success using the beautiful city of Seville, its unique culture, architecture and the world famous Feria festival as inspiration. The photo-realistic jerseys were designed by Fancurve’s team of highly skilled 3D fashion designers.
This collection is a limited run of unique and exclusive jerseys featuring multiple separate designs with varying levels of rarity, starting with the Onyx jersey costing €40 each.
Andy Nestor, Fancurve Co-Founder said: “”For our debut club-themed drop, we wanted to partner with a top flight football club with a tremendous fanbase and history. We found the right partner in leading La Liga club Real Betis – the current Copa del Rey champions – steeped in history and a club that now extends into basketball and esports. We look forward to growing with Real Betis and their community as we explore web3 football fandom together.”

We’re looking forward to building the future of digital sports fashion with Fancurve.”
Launched last month, Fancurve enables fans everywhere to share and engage around their favorite teams and athletes through digitally wearable jerseys and interactive extensions. The Fancurve platform allows fans to show off or resell their virtual items through the use of photo-realistic avatars and personalized locker rooms as well as benefit from a variety of interactive features with exclusive club benefits. Soon, fans will also be able to port their jerseys into various partner metaverse platforms where they will be able to showcase their fandom by wearing them as avatar skins.
