Salesforce Officially Invests In An Enterprise Blockchain Platform For The First Time
UK’ Gospel Technology receives a shot in the arm by IA & Salesforce Ventures
Salesforce Ventures and IA Ventures, together, extended a little over $6.5 million to Gospel Technology as a part of Series A funding. Previously (circa February 2018), investors for Gospel Technology were LocalGlobe. Gospel Technology provides Enterprise Data collaboration software that allows businesses to access and exchange data more securely. Gospel’s platform integrates robust security in data collaboration channels between internal and external customers as well as stakeholders. The security element nurtures trust and delivers paramount data exchange without affecting business performance.
Previously, Enterprise Data Exchange meant adding layers of restricted access wherever necessary. While this works at some scale, it deteriorates enterprise agility & collaboration capabilities. Now, Gospel has nullified the need to stitch access restrictions in the fabric of Enterprise Data Security. Their solution comprises of an all-in-one solution which leverages a private ledger to create an enterprise-wide security eco-system. Businesses retain control of shared data exclusively through their credentials. This event catches IDC’ attention with IDC quoting that, “ this is the first practical enterprise application of blockchain.”

It does this by bringing to market a breakthrough idea that fixes one of the biggest dilemmas of the Digital Economy: how to enable collaborative and flexible working without compromising on trust and security. In fact, one of the most surprising things about Gospel is why hasn’t somebody done this before?”
