XYO Network Partners with SMK, Leading Japanese OEM and World’s Top Remote Control, Touch Panel and Interconnect Technologies Device Manufacturer
SMK designs and creates the latest XY4 location-based Findable beacons, which form the backbone of the XYO Network. While the consumer-focused findables business will continue forward, the XYO Network team has driven a number of impactful technological innovations over the past few months, with the beacons serving a key role. Among those top developments are the launch of the end-to-end, blockchain-based network launch with Sentinel (beacon),Bridge, Archivist and Diviner components. Not tied to a single blockchain protocol, the XYO Network takes advantage of new developments in blockchain and cryptographic technology, comprising a future-ready and truly platform-agnostic oracle.
SMK is a proven supplier and global leader with more than 80 years of manufacturing experience. The company has ISO-certified factories throughout the globe with a myriad of production capabilities to manufacture electronic components, sub-assemblies, touch panels, and modules with functional and system testing. SMK’s team of electrical, manufacturing, and test engineers are constantly improving the company’s ability to build high quality, reliable, and cost effective products. XYO makes use of SMK’s nearby Tijuana, Mexico-based manufacturing facilities.
“Our ongoing partnership with XY and the XYO team is a very positive one, based on mutual admiration,” said Paul Evans, President, SMK Electronics Corporation. “We appreciate the bold strokes and emerging impact this new leader has already made in many industries, and look forward to being a key part of their continued success as a company.”
“We’re glad to be partnered with SMK on the design and manufacturing fronts as we build out our products, and our blockchain-based location verification solution,” noted XYO Network co-founder Markus Levin. “We’ve come to rely on our ongoing relationship with SMK to deliver the necessary products in a timely manner and with high quality to effectively support our consumer and enterprise technology, which will increasingly serve as an important validation layer and bridge between realities.”
