DigiAsia 2022: “Web3 Rhapsody”
DigiAsia 2022, was held on November 11-17 at Taipei Expo Park and organized by the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) and hosted by Taipei Association of Advertising Agencies (TAAA). In its fifth year, the event is billed as a digital marketing congress focused on exploring the latest innovation and technology drivers in Asia marketing. Professionals are actively encouraged to share experiences with a common goal of a brighter future for this industry. CEO of cacaFly and Vice chairman of TAAA, Yves Huang curated the conference.
This year‘s event, titled “Web3 Rhapsody”, was more focused than previous years, with all talks, events, and exhibitions centered on ways of embracing the new era of Web3 in digital marketing. The emphasis of the congress was exploring how world-class software companies and marketers are turning this new technology into practical applications. Due to the current level of excitement surrounding Web3, this year’s DigiaAsia attracted some of the biggest global names in tech and marketing, including Twitch, LINE, Meta, Google, Dentsu, and Wunderland Thompson.

In his presentation at DigiAsia, cacaFly,s Ecosystem Development Advisor, Yan Lee, explained at the event that because of the breadth and sophistication of Taiwan’s technology solution, the island is the best-positioned location in Asia for launching a web 3 project.

NFT ticketing designed and issued by Metartermis was used for admission to the conference and controlled through NoPFP Lab’s blockchain ticketing solution.

The metaverse experience of DigiAsia was augmented with an NFT Bazaar, created by Qubic, that allows NFT to be purchased with both crypto and fiat currency.
