Exasol Appoints Industry Veteran John Knieriemen as North America Business Lead
Exasol, the high-performance analytics database provider, announced John Knieriemen has been appointed as the company’s North America Business Lead. In this newly created role, Knieriemen is responsible for strategically scaling Exasol’s North America business presence across industries and expanding the organization’s partner network.
Knieriemen brings more than two decades of data analytics experience to Exasol, with deep expertise in new logo acquisition, account management, and solutioning in the data warehousing, big data, and cloud analytics space. At Exasol, he will grow the company’s regional sales team, strengthen customer relationships across various industries such as retail, financial services and more, while working closely with partners to ensure Exasol meets all of their needs.

Knieriemen joins Exasol from Teradata, where he served as vice president and general manager, spending over 11 years in senior management roles. Knieriemen was instrumental in building, scaling, and leading change and transformation at the company, including developing its first-ever commercial sales function. Prior to Teradata, Knieriemen spent time in various business development roles at Texas Instruments and Raytheon.
