Geekbot’s Automation Tool for Asynchronous Standups, Surveys, and More Now Available on Microsoft AppSource
Geekbot announced the availability of Geekbot SaaS on Microsoft AppSource, an online cloud marketplace providing tailored line-of-business solutions.
Geekbot is the brainchild of a team of experienced engineers, researchers, and technologists who had found that meetings were quickly taking over their days. Feeling unproductive and overwhelmed, they built an automation tool to allow them to run asynchronous standups, surveys, retrospectives, polls, and more, all on autopilot.
The Geekbot app is now used by over 170,000 distributed users worldwide, helping them reduce the time spent in meetings while still staying in sync. This frees them to focus on the work that matters, all while preserving interpersonal connection.

“We originally developed Geekbot for internal use, largely because we wanted to run asynchronous daily standups. We found the tool so helpful that we decided to make it public, and it quickly gained traction,” said Nick Papanotas, CEO, Geekbot. “We’re immensely proud that in the last years, 170,000 users have started using Geekbot, and its availability on Microsoft AppSource is a pivotal milestone for our team.”
“Through Microsoft AppSource, customers around the world can easily find tailored line-of-business partner solutions that work with the products they already use,” said Toby Bowers, General Manager, Business Applications Group, Microsoft Corp. “We’re happy to welcome Geekbot’s solution to the growing AppSource ecosystem.”
