The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Customers can be confident that Goliath Performance Monitor for ChromeOS has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex, in order to provide IT professionals a comprehensive view of key health telemetry of ChromeOS devices correlated with other IT elements, including the Citrix platform and user behavior, that could potentially impact end-user experience.
“End user experience issues are often incorrectly attributed to the IT elements with which the user engages, like a new ChromeOS device or launching their Citrix virtual applications and desktops,” said Chris Fleck, Vice President, Ecosystems and Verticals, Citrix. “The collaboration with Goliath is important to ensure proactive management of issues and for successful deployments of ChromeOS devices shipped to access Citrix.”

Available now, it is the only comprehensive view of Google ChromeOS device health, the Citrix platform, and end user experience from the user’s perspective. Goliath Technologies and Google have collaborated to offer this industry-only integration which leverages embedded intelligence and automation to automatically discover your ChromeOS inventory, proactively alert on end user experience issues, and correlate metrics so IT professionals can anticipate, troubleshoot, and document root cause for permanent resolution.
“We want to make sure when we are deploying, supporting, and monitoring Chromebooks that if a ticket is submitted, the end user does not automatically blame the front-facing elements, like the Google Chromebook or Citrix when the underlying issue might be several other elements in the infrastructure,” says Scott Urofsky, CTO at System Solutions Inc.
In a single view, IT professionals can quickly associate a user’s device with their Citrix session to quickly diagnose issues impacting overall device performance and end user experience. Additionally, end user experience can now be benchmarked, tracked, and scored against industry best practices so IT professionals and leadership have an objective measurement of the quality of user experience provided without the reliance on subjective feedback, which can be both inaccurate and difficult to act upon.
“As a key partner of the Citrix Ready program, we are able to offer customers intelligent solutions that combine our Goliath Performance Monitor with Citrix and Google solutions,” said Keary Pence, Director of Product Marketing at Goliath. “The offering clearly demonstrates our plans to work closely with trusted partners, through the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem, in order to provide the highest quality experience for our customers.”
