Guardsquare Names Technology Veteran Kimberly Wood as Chief Information Officer
Guardsquare, the mobile application security solution, announced the appointment of Kimberly Wood as Chief Information Officer (CIO) as the company continues its accelerated growth and momentum. Kimberly will lead the IT and security teams who oversee applications, infrastructure, solution delivery, and process excellence in support of the company’s customers and employees worldwide.

A veteran technology leader with a deep understanding of technical, operational, and business strategy, Kimberly brings to Guardsquare more than 15 years of experience. She has held key leadership roles in technology and security companies, and most recently, served as Vice President of Information Technology, CISO at Catapult, a global performance data company that powers elite sports. Prior to that, she held CISO roles at Formlabs where she provided strategic direction and management over the cybersecurity and technical teams, and SimbiQ where she was responsible for technology strategy, infrastructure, quality assurance, and security and technology operations. She also led IT strategy and initiatives at SmartBear Software where she served as Director of Global Information Technology and Security Officer.

Kimberly is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. She has served in both the US Navy and the US Army where she began her IT career working across network infrastructure and cybersecurity.
