iDenfy and Smart Engines Partner to Make Biometric ID Processing Environmentally Friendly

iDenfy has partnered with document recognition software developer Smart Engines to make its identification processes more secure and efficient, utilizing the company’s versatile AI driven solutions for document data extraction.

“iDenfy is a strong player on EU market with a great expertise in user verification. Our partnership with iDenfy shows that our document recognition solution makes the user experience more comfortable, technological and modern. At the same time, a high level of security in accordance with international standards for personal data protection is ensured,” says Vladimir Arlazarov, Smart Engines’ founder and CEO.

Smart ID Engine covers 210 jurisdictions worldwide, supporting 100 languages; and allows capture and extraction of the required data from various document types, such as reporting forms (such as tax declarations), accounting, financial, legal, and notarial documentation, according to Smart Engine’s website. ID card processing time is between 130 to 150 milliseconds per single frame, using the identity document’s security features for validation is known as computational document forensics. The software works in all natural lighting conditions, and offers the capability to extract photos from identity documents, whilst maintaining data privacy practices, as documents are not shared with third party servers, nor are any cloud servers used.

iDenfy currently provides 98.4 percent accuracy AI-powered facial recognition, according to its website, including data scanning and surface analysis. This covers 1300 document types in over 200 countries, the system is able to match 160 face points, incorporating biometric liveness detection.
