Caffeine Strikes Multiyear Partnership With Platinum Recording Artist Drake
Caffeine announced that it has entered into a multiyear exclusive partnership with Drake. As a part of the deal, Caffeine will live stream and co-produce Rap Battles in collaboration with the world’s largest Battle Rap platform (URL). The URL partnership is part of the larger multiyear deal between Caffeine and Drake to bring an exciting range of highly curated live content to Caffeine’s premium platform.
As a long time fan and dedicated URL subscriber Drake described the partnership as the perfect match, “I’ve always loved URL and admired what Smack and his team have been able to create, it just wasn’t easily accessible. It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans.“

Ultimate Rap League (“URL TV”) couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity and the ability to bring fans a premium viewing experience for free. “Caffeine is the perfect strategic partner for URL and the only one who can, with the press a single button, help us get this content to new audiences around the world for free, “ said Smack White, co-founder of URL.
“We are proud to partner with Drake and support him as he brings his vision and channel to life,” said Ben Keighran, founder and CEO of Caffeine. “As a platform, Caffeine gives Drake the freedom to pursue new creative ideas and we are excited about the whole slate of fresh content that he will share with his communities. It will all be live, authentic, and amazing and I can’t wait for fans to come check it out.”

Caffeine has reimagined every aspect of live streaming. The platform is built on technology that delivers low-latency viewing and interactions. Typically sub-190-milliseconds, Caffeine streams are often 15 seconds to a full minute faster than other streaming platforms. Caffeine also has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, hate speech, and racism. This is supported with a multi-level moderation scheme that integrates automated filtering with human moderators and an empowered community so that online engagement on the platform is safe and healthy. Caffeine’s business model is built around in-app purchases that reward creators from day one and do not rely on the grinding schedules that lead to creator burnout. Together, it all leads to fresher, more relevant content and unique partnership opportunities for the world’s top creators.
Other creators who recently started streaming on Caffeine include artists Offset and Doja Cat, the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, NBA stars Collin Sexton and Kyle Kuzma and gamers Cartoonz, Ohmwrecker, and Crainer.
