Sanolla Wins Horizon 2020 Funding to Fight COVID-19 with Early Detection and Monitoring Technology

Sanolla, an Israeli medical device and technology start-up driving artificial intelligence (AI) based innovations in acoustic digital diagnostic systems and healthcare platforms, has been granted EU funding under the Horizon 2020 program to help tackle the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Following its previous announcement, Sanolla shifted its technology to support the early detection and monitoring of COVID-19 allowing doctors to rapidly assess and diagnose patients with its artificial intelligence-based smart auscultation device. Sanolla set up a consortium consisting of seven European entities and companies. As a leader of the consortium, Sanolla and its partners have been granted a total of €5 million funding for the project, under the Horizon 2020 program designed to fight COVID-19.
