Bloomreach Appoints Rob Rosenthal as Chief Revenue Officer
Former Adobe & SAP Executive Joins Digital Commerce Experience Leader to Drive Next Phase of Global Growth
Bloomreach, a leading digital customer and commerce experience software provider, announced that Rob Rosenthal has joined as Chief Revenue Officer. Rosenthal joins Bloomreach after having served in senior executive sales leadership roles at Adobe and SAP. In his new role, Rosenthal will have full responsibility for revenue at Bloomreach, including sales and new business, account management and customer success, as well as channel and partners.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Rob to Bloomreach,” said Bloomreach CEO and co-founder Raj De Datta. “Rob has a phenomenal track record of success, understands our market and customers very well, and has a great reputation as a straight-forward leader who is easy to do business with. He brings a unique combination of skills to our organization, not only understanding how to work effectively at growth-stage companies but also with great experience in building and growing teams, strong process and analytical orientation, and a ton of experience selling enterprise software solutions in our market. Above all, Rob is a natural fit with the Bloomreach culture with an orientation to winning big.”
Rosenthal’s career has spanned many years in sales and sales management. His two most recent stops saw him build and lead the North American Hybris organization through its explosive growth and eventual acquisition by SAP, where he continued to lead sales as the business was integrated and expanded at SAP. Rosenthal then moved to Adobe, first leading the specialist teams within the experience business, then leading the North and Latin America Adobe Marketing Cloud sales team for strategic new business accounts.

“It’s rare that you get to join a company that is defining a new category with a bold vision,” Rosenthal said. “Bloomeach’s vision for commerce experience is that kind of vision whose time has come. The market is ready for a challenger of the status quo and I’m excited to join the Bloomreach team and lead their sales organization in this next phase of global growth.”
Rosenthal joins Bloomreach after a year of great results for the company and with a great outlook for 2020. The company ended 2019 with 32% YoY revenue increase for its growth products and more than doubled the number of customers running on its brX digital experience cloud.
