Rhythm Expands Its International Edition as It Integrates More Languages
Rhythm, a content management system for publishers, that combines Google translate API, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and human intervention, has announced its plans to expand the number of languages on its system including Italian, Russian and Chinese.
Created by the team behind Pocket-lint, a leading global independent technology publication, the intelligent CMS system allows international users to read thousands of different articles in their fluent language at the click of a button. This is made possible by sophisticated Artificial Intelligence implemented into the software which allows for the content to be automatically translated in microseconds and enables Pocket-lint to share what matters in consumer technology to readers across the world.

Launched at the start of 2020, Rhythm has since added Swedish, German and Dutch to its roster of supported international languages, allowing Pocket-lint to reach almost four million users (a month) in a language that isn’t English. The latest move to cover Italian, Russian and Chinese will not only help international editors to make their latest news more accessible, but Rhythm’s instant translations enabled by AI will enhance the reader experience across many more geographies worldwide.
Rhythm also allows editors of international publications to keep their articles updated and relevant through a traffic light system, which highlights when stories are becoming outdated. It uses data analysis reporting to help publications better understand the stories their readers are interested in and provides a recommendation engine to offer news stories for readers based on a number of factors. Rhythm also automatically handles image manipulation and sizing to alleviate manual editing across platforms, and supports publishing to other platforms including Apple News, Amazon On-Site Publishing, and web stories.

Here, we are extremely passionate about telling the world what really matters and bringing AI into this process presents an intelligent way to reach audiences with ease.”
