“We are thrilled about the talent and momentum that Resilience is building across our company,” said Raj Shah, Chairman of Resilience. “Mehvish brings extensive industry experience and builds on our leadership across insurance, security, and data science. Her team orientation is an ideal fit for our culture and will accelerate our mission of solving cyber risk through an innovative approach to security and risk transfer.”
Prior to Resilience, Femia served as the Acting General Counsel at Digital Partners, a Munich RE company, where she drafted and negotiated a range of commercial contracts, looked after the full slate of business agreements, and served as the company’s lead regulatory contact.

“The cyber insurance market is growing faster than many expected – fueled over the last several months by increased ransomware activity. More insurance products are being developed, more capacity is entering the market, and more insureds are looking for coverage – yet breaches and claims continue,” said Femia. “It’s clear that businesses need a new approach, not one isolated in either security or insurance, but one that combines the best thinking from both. I am excited about the Resilience model and look forward to working with this extraordinarily talented team of diverse professionals.”
Femia’s responsibilities will include maintaining ongoing relationships with regulatory bodies and insurance organizations, supporting regulatory and internal compliance requirements, and supporting the full range of insurance operations.
Femia will be based in Resilience’s New York offices.
