SandboxAQ Strengthens Relationships and Seeks New Opportunities for Innovation and Collaboration in the United Kingdom

SandboxAQ, an enterprise SaaS company delivering the compound effects of AI and Quantum (AQ) technology to governments and the Global 1000, announced it is strengthening its partnerships to advance quantum technology in the UK and internationally.

As SandboxAQ announced in September 2022, its acquisition of French cybersecurity firm Cryptosense aligned the company with notable European strategic investors, including Amadeus Capital Partners. Amadeus invests in cyber and advanced technologies to bring businesses developing tomorrow’s solutions closer to buyers and innovators in many sectors, including security and defence.

The British Business Bank’s National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) is an LP investor with Amadeus, which expands the opportunity for collaboration between SandboxAQ and the UK’s dual-use technology ecosystem.

“SandboxAQ is thrilled to be engaging with the UK’s dual-use technology ecosystem. We look forward to collaborating with NSSIF to elevate awareness and development of dual-use AQ technology in the UK as well as with the broader international community,” said SandboxAQ CEO Jack Hidary. “This is part of a larger effort for SandboxAQ to engage with tech consortiums in the UK and around the globe to advance understanding of quantum technology, global national security requirements, and applications in the commercial environment.”

An NSSIF spokesperson said: “SandboxAQ’s strategy has the potential to unlock solutions to many global challenges, including cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection, pharmaceutical drug discovery, advanced navigation, and climate change. Working with businesses such as SandboxAQ contributes to NSSIF’s objectives of accelerating the adoption HM Government’s future national security and defence capabilities, and the development of the UK’s dual-use technology ecosystem.”
