Sentera Announces Expanded High Precision Application Technologies
Sentera AI, sensors, and analytics enable new on-field and aerial application technologies
Sentera announced commercial expansion of the company’s ultra-high precision application products. Alongside industry-leading partners, Sentera has integrated a set of advanced technologies that can dramatically improve application efficiency for herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, growth regulators, and nutrition products. In multi-year trials and commercial deployments, these products have improved grower profitability, promoted sustainability and food security, and reduced impact on the environment, while opening new markets for new crop protection, nutrition, and fertility products.
“This new technology deployment is a monumental step not only for Sentera but agriculture as a whole.”
Sentera combines its analytics, sensor hardware, and precision positioning technologies to enable agronomic insights at a plant-by-plant level. Digital integration with precision field equipment and aerial application partners enables direct downlink to the application equipment. An advisor can quickly gather hundreds or thousands of acres of imagery and analytics, write targeted prescriptions, and downlink them to equipment

These technologies represent the next frontier in precision agriculture. The same technologies that power autosteer and advanced equipment guidance are used to precisely meter and place inputs within the field. Sentera’s customers can apply fungicide, pesticide or herbicide only to the areas of the field that require it. Sentera’s partners include many of the largest equipment, crop inputs, forestry, research, consumer-packaged goods, and insurance and risk companies in the world.
These products unlock additional value for service providers or growers with access to John Deere ExactApply, Raven Hawkeye HD, and other equipment capable of precision positioning and nozzle-by-nozzle control. The Sentera products also support integration with drone-based application equipment. Sentera has validated compatibility and efficacy of these technologies in collaboration with these leading equipment providers. Direct digital interface with platforms like John Deere Operations Center, Climate FieldView, and Raven Slingshot, make transfer and prescription execution straightforward and reliable.
