Stylitics Launches AI-Powered Virtual Closet to Personalize the Ecommerce Experience
Stylitics Launches Personalization Suite of New Products, With Initial Rollout to Offer Inspirational, Curated Outfits Based Upon Shoppers’ Previous Purchases and Searches
Stylitics, the category leader in AI-powered automated digital merchandising and styling technology, announced the launch of its new shopping suite of products for brands and retailers to deliver highly personalized ecommerce experiences to consumers. The initial rollout will feature two products that offer inspirational, curated outfit recommendations based on shoppers’ previous purchases and browsed items
The new products, “Styled for You” and “Dynamic Galleries”, allow retailers to instantly suggest more relevant items for each shopper on their site, anonymous or known. These products leverage Stylitics’ proprietary Style Profile data set, which represents a shopper’s unique style preferences on a retailer’s site.

“Shoppers have long admired Cher’s virtual closet from the film Clueless and these new tools are reimagining that dream,” said Rohan Deuskar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Stylitics. “Using AI not only personalizes the ecommerce experience for shoppers, but it also allows brands to do so at scale. We are providing retailers with a new opportunity to understand the shopper’s style in deeper and more dynamic ways, while driving loyalty and higher engagement.”
“Styled for You” rewards loyal customers by providing personalized outfit recommendations by styling their previous purchases and browsed items, showing them multiple ways of updating items already in their wardrobe. It is available for all shoppers, regardless of their logged-in state, and is accessed via a widget for the homepage on both web and mobile, holding purchase history for up to 18 months. Out of stock items are easily handled by automatically replacing similar available items.

“Dynamic Galleries” provides 1:1 outfitting corresponding to search results based upon an individual’s shopper Style Profile. It shows 5-7 outfit results, which are based upon browsed items, past purchases, category and most used filter inputs. Its results are refined as the shopper engages and provides visual and text-based cues, such as “Because you shopped…” to explain why specific results are shown. As with “Styled for You” it’s available for all shoppers and swaps out of stock items with new choices automatically.
