VISO Trust Successfully Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 Compliance
VISO Trust announced it has achieved compliance certification for System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) Type 2 and SOC 3. To achieve this critical third-party assessment, VISO Trust underwent an independent audit by Ernst & Young to ensure that VISO Trust’s cybersecurity protocols and use of data for its cybersecurity due diligence platform met the strict data security requirements for SOC 2 and SOC 3 certification.
Paul Valente, CEO at VISO Trust, shares “We built VISO Trust because we wanted to create a better experience for reducing third-party risks. We are fully invested in the security of our customer and third-party data – it’s a fundamental part of the VISO Trust platform and experience. Achieving SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliance ensures that we continue to prioritize and secure the data entrusted to us by our customers and partners.”

“I’m proud of VISO Trust for having completed the SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 audit at such an early stage,” adds Russell Sherman, Chief Technology Officer at VISO Trust. “This milestone is a testament to the entire organization’s commitment to doing things the right way, using secure development principles, and following processes that ensure we take great care of our customers’ and third-party partner data.”
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) as a voluntary standard for service organizations, SOC 2 specifies how organizations should manage customer data, based on the following Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Implementing and maintaining SOC 2 and SOC 3 requirements demonstrates VISO Trust’s commitment to meeting the highest security, availability, and confidentiality standards in the industry.
