Dating Group Reveals its Plans for the Metaverse as Dating.com Opens the First Meta-Dating Space in Decentraland

World’s foremost social discovery platform, Dating Group has announced it will invest nearly $20 million over the next five years as part of its expansion into the metaverse. The decision to invest in metaverse would benefit its 140 million users who subscribe to its portfolio of 45 apps across 100 countries. This would influence the future of meta-dating space which is estimated to be a $2 billion industry by 2026. Dating Group, which is now the world’s largest global dating company, with more than $300 million in annual revenue plans to be the leader in the meta-dating space. The investment comes almost within a year of its acquisition of Cupid Media which symbolized Dating Group’s strategic movement toward becoming the world’s largest social discovery platform in the post-pandemic era.
