“In order to provide our customers with a great TV experience, Blue Stream Fiber is in the midst of upgrading all of our customers to the most advanced IPTV platform in the industry. We chose Vecima because of their ability to deliver on edge capacity, an efficient private copy solution, transcoding flexibility, and centralized storage,” said Joe Canavan, CEO at Blue Stream Fiber. “Strong references from other operators, their ability to coordinate IPTV resources across multiple vendors, and a fundamental understanding of the challenges posed by IPTV projects made Vecima the right choice for us.”
Upgrading their existing system to a complete end-to-end solution allows Blue Stream Fiber to consolidate IPTV Transcoding (File & Live), Origin, Cache, and Centralized Storage. Streaming their media workflow from ingest to delivery accelerates Blue Stream Fiber’s go-to-market timelines, reduces operational costs, and expands their footprint.
