New AI-Powered Content Management Platform From Binumi Pro Will ‘Democratise’ Video
AI tools include auto transcriptions and facial recognition
Video-editing platform Binumi Pro has launched an AI-powered content management system, as part of its ambitious mission to make video production accessible for businesses and teams of all sizes.
The PaaS (Platform as a Service) company’s new scalable video storage ecosystem, The Reef, allows users to create, collaborate and curate their content securely.

Features of The Reef include AI-powered automatic transcribing of audio tracks, plus facial recognition software that provides information on where a person is featured across a business’s videos.
Housed on Binumi Pro’s App, The Reef is a space for teams to collaborate and share finished videos, creating a long term storage environment with advanced search functionality.
The Reef features custom permission levels, smart indexing, and sharing, to enable users to control how they distribute, reiterate and localise content.

Christopher Bo Shields, Chief Creative Officer and Co-founder, Binumi Pro, said:
“The paradigm for video marketing has shifted. In the old days video was a big-budget project, handled by a marketing department handing a brief to a production company.
“We’re committed to democratising video, ensuring that everyone can quickly and easily create and distribute video content – be it a marketing team for social channels, an internal comms team to create induction videos, or a finance team introducing a new payroll system. Or simply a smaller organisation for whom existing video production solutions are just too expensive and slow.”
The Reef has been launched alongside a new, more compact Storytelling Kit in a box, which enables anyone to shoot handheld smartphone videos to a professional standard.
The kit, which is provided as standard to all Binumi Pro subscribers, includes a lightweight smartphone rig, a small, collapsible tripod, a professional lapel microphone and a bright LED light.
Binumi Pro is also delighted to announce that it is now an ISO27001 certified company.
The certification reflects the fact that in addition to offering comprehensive levels of client administration and designated user access, the app and platform have undergone rigorous internal and external security controls and processes.
