Salesforce’s EinsteinGPT – What’s in Store?

After Open AI ChatGPT’s public launch, Microsoft’s reinvented AI–powered Bing and Edge, and Google’s Bard, there’s another product that is creating quite the hype – Salesforce’s EinsteinGPT. The announcement, of Salesforce’s EinsteinGPT (it’s not official yet), is likely to up the tech offerings game with many new features like report generation, lead conversion, etc.

EinsteinGPT was announced way back in 2016 when it acquired close to 10 other companies. Currently, the brand is associated with many features and functionalities, but we still need to decipher which is truly powered by AI.

It is highly speculated that at TrailblazerDX ’23, to be held on March 7, Salesforce may officially announce EinsteinGPT, which, per our assumption, is the direct integration between the Salesforce platform and OpenAI’s GPT model.

Marc Benioff’s Tweet about EinsteinGPT

CEO and co-founder of Salesforce, Marc Benioff’s tweet has reignited the hype around EinsteinGPT and its much-awaited announcement. On February 8th, Marc tweeted, “Get ready to be wowed by Salesforce EisnteinGPT!” along with hashtags including #TDX23 #EinsteinGPT.

Marc’s statement, ambiguously hinted that Einstein will generate leads and close deals and maybe make coffee too (just kidding)! He also used phrases like, “No more boring reports, now it’ll write them for you with jokes included.” His Spanish tweet translated as: “The CRM that knows your customers better than you do and can even predict their next move.”

Features of EinsteinGPT

The tweet does not really make it official yet it has revealed so many interesting features of EinsteinGPT, especially the writing reports part.

  • Write reports.
  • Predict customer behavior.
  • Generate leads.
  • Finalize deals.

The ChatGPT Era and the Hype

It’s been a little over three months since Open AI’s ChatGPT forayed into the public space, and the entire technical universe is already besotted with it. Why not? I mean can you imagine an AI model ‘admitting to its own mistakes, rejecting inappropriate mistakes or challenging incorrect premises.’

With ChatGPT, people have whole-heartedly embraced the new age of AI-powered applications, and are now more open to exploring the world of artificial intelligence. So much so, that ChatGPT has crushed all records and has successfully become one of the most viewed websites with 672 million visits in January. In addition, ChatGPT is also the fastest-growing consumer application, touching 100 million active users within just 2 months of its launch!

These records and statistics clearly indicate the anticipation people had for artificial intelligence. In the last few years, the rise of artificial intelligence has been admirable albeit not very tangible. With these kinds of product launches, the world can now witness the true power of artificial intelligence and how it is transforming our daily lives.

ChatGPT has touched numerous industries and reinvented how they function and now, with Marc Benioff’s subtle, cryptic tweets, we can’t imagine the possibilities it will offer.
