Health Bank One announced its pledge to join the CMS Health Tech Ecosystem Initiative as a patient-facing app, committing to help accelerate a nationwide shift toward patient-centered healthcare. The company delivers the core capabilities and two of the three use cases that CMS has mandated to be in place by Q1 2026—including banking-grade digital identity, guaranteed access to medical records from any provider, and AI-powered health assistants—and is ready to integrate with CMS Aligned Networks as soon as the industry supports Individual Access Services.

Next Steps

Health Bank One will begin the IAL2/AAL2 certification process for its Health Bank IDs—already adopted for digital banking in Europe—so that when providers enable Individual Patient Access Requests through CMS Aligned Networks, patients can access their data even faster and more easily.
