Cut to today, Snapchat surprised its consumers by launching its very own chatbot, My AI, running on the latest version of OpenAI‘s GPT technology, specially customized for Snapchat. Initially, My AI is only available to Snapchat+ subscribers who can use it as an experimental feature.

You can do a lot with My AI, like planning a hiking trip, recommending birthday gift ideas, taking cues for a good dinner recipe or even writing a haiku on anything. Besides these, users can call My AI with a name of their choice and even customize the wallpaper for a chat.
