Adalo— a no-code builder that allows anyone, regardless of coding ability, to create mobile and web apps – announced an $8 million Series A, the second largest Series A fundraising round for a no-code app builder. The round was led by private equity firm, Tiger Global, with other prominent investors, including Wade Foster of Zapier, Jason Warner of Github, Ben Tossell of Makerpad, Oceans Ventures, and OldSlip Group. Adalo enables users to create desktop and mobile apps.

without writing a single line of code and it is one of the few no-code development platforms that allows direct publishing to both Apple & Android stores, as well as to your own website.
This latest funding round will allow Adalo to expand into fully-responsive web apps as well as to expand their marketplace beyond 3rd party components to include templates and integrations. With an additional focus on education, Adalo also plans to create an Academy to help its users throughout the entire app development process; from strategy to design, and everything in between.
