Neymar Jr. Comics Releases App for Digital Comic Series

Comics Inspired by Star Athlete Can Be Purchased in iOS or Android

Fan The Flame Concepts LLC, an independent comic and graphic novel producer working with Neymar Jr.’s team, announced the release of a new app for the recently launched Neymar Jr. Comics. The app is available in either iOS format through the App Store or Android format via the Google Play Store.

The Neymar Jr. Comics app allows the star’s fans around the world to read the digital comics on the go, including its first series, Inked: Art Animates Life and other series created by New York Times-bestselling author and comic and graphic novel creator Jason M. Burns.

Fans can also download free content, receive special discounts, enter contests and learn about upcoming titles and issues. Comics are available in five languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, and recently launched Italian – with other languages planned to reach fans globally.

“One reason I wanted to create a digital comic is that I use my phone to connect with fans on social media,” said Neymar Jr. “With this new app, fans can use their phones to interact with my comic series and its universe of characters and inspiring stories.”

A portion of the proceeds from all sales of Neymar Jr. Comics will benefit Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. (INJR), Neymar Jr.’s charitable foundation. INJR aims to expand opportunities for children, adolescents and their families living in situations of social vulnerability through education, culture, sports and health.

Fan The Flame created the project with NR Sports authorization, the company responsible for the image rights management of the athlete Neymar Jr. Fan The Flame plans to expand the Neymar Jr. Comics franchise through licensing deals with major studios, television, animation, and games. It is currently in active conversations with major brands about partnership opportunities.
