ParkMobile to Launch Contactless Parking Payments in Lawrence, Kansas

The ParkMobile App Will Allow Users to Easily Pay for Parking on Their Mobile Device

ParkMobile, the #1 parking app in the U.S., announced a new partnership with Lawrence, KS, to provide contactless parking payments at nearly 3,000 spaces in both off-street lots and on-street spaces around the downtown area. Amid the COVID-19 crisis, city leaders are encouraging residents to use the app instead of touching the physical parking hardware to prevent the spread of the virus.

The ParkMobile app has over 22 million users and is available for both iPhone and Android devices. ParkMobile can also be accessed on a mobile web browser for those who do not want to download an app. To pay for parking using the mobile or web app, a user enters the zone number posted on the new ParkingApp.com signage near the space. The user then selects the amount of time needed and touches the “Start Parking” button to begin the session. The user can also extend the time of the parking session on their mobile device.
