Google Cloud unveiled new certifications and courses in data analytics, cybersecurity, and generative AI at the ASU + GSV Summit. These will assist in matching talent with in-demand tech positions in various industries and sectors. The new training is being offered by several employer partners, including Purdue Global, the United States Department of the Treasury, Rackspace, and Jack Henry.

According to Network World, approximately 200,000 AI-related job openings were advertised in the United States in the last 12 months, reflecting the growing demand for professionals with expertise in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Furthermore, according to the World Economic Forum, the demand for experts in artificial intelligence and machine learning is projected to increase by 40% in the next five years, resulting in the creation of approximately one million jobs worldwide. To be ready to meet this demand, businesses, governments, and schools must work together.
