Citrix Promotes Tech Veteran Hector Lima as Company’s First Chief Customer Officer
Global technology giant Citrix has carved out a new position of Chief Customer Officer to meet the growing demands of the Cloud and IT Ops markets. The company promoted its EVP-Customer Experience, Hector Lima, to a new role of Chief Customer Officer. Hector will report to David Henshall, President and CEO at Citrix.
In his new role, Hector will lead the company into a new era of Customer Experience Management, helping Citrix to focus on its go-to-market motions.
Citrix is one of the leading adoption centers for emerging technologies. It has invested heavily in building the “future” of workplace and enabling customers to evolve with secured hybrid workplace technologies and applications. The new role will amplify company’s strategic movement into fully-aligned customer-engagement model that drive desired business outcomes.

Hector has been with Citrix for the last 20 years. He has been leading Citrix’s recent CX efforts for some time now. He is responsible for elevating the end-to-end journey for Citrix customers by providing intelligent digital workspace solutions that unify and secure access to the world’s most important apps and data, and that simplify work execution and collaboration across every work channel, device, and location.
His elevation to the role of Chief Customer Officer will “reduce complexity for our sellers and partners”, mentioned CEO David Henshall in his welcome blog.
