KPMG International Appoints David Rowlands as Global Head of AI and Launches Global KPMG Trusted AI Framework

KPMG marks next phase in its AI strategy with appointment of Global Head of AI

Global CEOs are making generative AI a top investment priority. KPMG‘s 2023 CEO Outlook indicated that 70 percent are investing heavily in generative AI as their competitive edge for the future.

To support this focus and as part of its own strategic prioritization and investment in the development and deployment of leading AI solutions, KPMG International has appointed David Rowlands as Global Head of AI. It has also launched a global KPMG Trusted AI framework outlining principles of responsible and ethical AI transformation.

AIThority Predictions Series 2024 bannerIn this newly created role, David will help drive and implement KPMG’s AI strategy to apply emerging AI technologies to enhance client engagements and the employee experience in a way that is responsible, trustworthy and safe. This will include equipping KPMG professionals with the latest AI tooling, developing AI solutions for clients and building a global AI immersion program to help ensure KPMG teams are able to leverage the benefits of AI.

Most recently, David served as Head of Consulting for KPMG in the UK, sitting on the UK Executive Committee and the Global Advisory Steering Group. He brings a strong track record of delivering technology enabled transformations to clients across the world.
