NodeSource Announces N|Solid Runtime Layer for AWS Lambda
Node.Js Solutions Company Supports Authoring and Running Serverless Applications in AWS Lambda on the N|Solid Runtime to Provide Performance Monitoring and Detailed Metrics
NodeSource, the Node.js company, announced a new solution for monitoring the performance and behavior of functions running on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lambda. Developers and DevOps teams working on serverless applications can now deploy NodeSource’s enhanced Node.js runtime to capture and analyze highly precise, in-depth performance metrics.
“These mission-critical insights are mandatory for any environment that cares about delivering the best customer experience.”
NodeSource’s N|Solid is an enhanced alternative to the open source Node.js runtime. N|Solid offers low-impact monitoring and performance metrics as well as improved security for Node.js applications. N|Solid is one of several solutions to be delivered using the new Runtime API and Layers features announced today by AWS.
AWS Lambda runs application code automatically when triggered from another AWS service or from any web or mobile application. Developers using AWS Lambda can deploy and run code, even at massive scale, without having to provision or manage servers. AWS Lambda’s continuous scaling delivers high availability during peak usage automatically.
