The ACCC InfoCore™ System reduces real-world conductor installation risk experienced by utilities, contractors and lineman across the globe. By using a proprietary infrared light system, special fibers in the core, and a robust data-capture methodology, the InfoCore System can confirm the post-stringing integrity of the conductor in minutes. This capability is uniquely valuable to utilities and contractors because of the added confidence it provides.

“CTC Global and its manufacturing partners have supported the installation of roughly 100,000 kilometers of ACCC Conductor at over 750 projects, for more than 250 utilities in over 50 countries and in virtually every type of terrain and ecosystem imaginable. This massive body of experience has taught us two things – First, ACCC Conductors are easy to install with proper tools and use of simple handling guidelines. And second, the real world is an unforgiving place for every engineered product and project,” said J.D. Sitton, CTC Global’s CEO. He continued: “CTC Global’s utility customers asked for a fast, accurate and simple-to-use method for confirming post-installation integrity of their ACCC Conductor installations. Anne McDowell, VP, Commercial Operations for CTC added: “Our team worked closely with CTC’s manufacturing partners and key utilities to develop, test and optimize the InfoCore System.” She continued: “I am pleased to announce the first full-scale commercial deployment of ACCC InfoCore Conductor for Elia, on the upgrade of a 66 kV line near Mons, Belgium. The upgraded line serves an important new data center in the region. The InfoCore System has exceeded all expectations.”
