Mercedes-Benz USA Enables Choice and Technology Modernization for Dealers by Integrating via Motive Retail
Mercedes-Benz USA more than doubled its certified Dealer Management System options for dealers by scaling its integration program with Motive Retail’s integration automation platform, Motive Integrator Certify
Mercedes-Benz is a brand that has long been synonymous with innovation. As the company responsible for the sales and marketing of the automobiles that carry the esteemed brand in the US, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) takes a similarly dynamic approach when it comes to helping its dealer partners gain access to a broad selection of valuable software options. To offer MB dealership partners more choices, the Atlanta-based company decided to more than double the number of Dealer Management System (DMS) providers with integration certificates.

To enable data transmission of w******* claims, parts ordering and other retail functions, MBUSA offers multiple integrations to DMS. Certifying integrations is a careful and deliberate process, and when sales and customer satisfaction are at stake, there is zero tolerance for errors in data being exchanged via the integration. MBUSA needed a fast, reliable process to onboard new DMS partners, so the company reached out to auto retail’s integration experts. With Motive Retail’s Certify platform, the rollout time was reduced to an average of 4.5 months, and Certify’s testing engine raised the integrity of the data quality significantly.
“Our customers rely on Motive to make their most important digital strategies work with the systems their dealers choose,” said Dan Seats, co-founder of Motive Retail. “Motive Integrator helps them get dealers online faster while improving quality and process control.”
