Independent Research Firm Names Avocado Systems One of the Most Significant Providers in Microsegmentation Evaluation

Avocado Systems, an innovator in application security, announced that independent research firm Forrester has ranked it a Contender in The Forrester New Wave: Microsegmentation, Q1 2022, report—one of only nine top emerging vendors evaluated in the microsegmentation space. Forrester considers microsegmentation essential for Zero Trust private networks and recognized Avocado for its software-process-level microsegmentation, which protects against sophisticated attacks like ZeroDay, APT, Log4j and ransomware.

According to the report, Avocado Systems:

• “ringfences at the process level, providing an extra level of Zero Trust granularity”;

Avocado enforces Zero Trust security by fully automating application and API process microsegmentation, which isolates software processes at the deepest level and enables their protection. Avocado’s “observability of the unknown” detects the most sophisticated attacks where traditional signature- and pattern-based approaches fail.
