Quantcast and Kochava Partnership Delivers Combined Web and Mobile App Solution for CCPA
Consumers can now make privacy decisions wherever they engage with brands and publishers online; New platform compliant with IAB CCPA and GDPR Frameworks
Quantcast, the audience intelligence company and leader in consent management, and Kochava, the industry leader providing real-time data solutions for mobile and connected devices, announced a partnership to deliver compliance support for the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) across web and mobile apps.
“As new laws like CCPA emerge, Quantcast is continuing to invest in solutions that empower consumers and help the publisher community forge sustainable business models. Kochava’s leadership in mobile creates a compelling partnership to help consumers make informed decisions wherever they encounter brands and publishers online.”
Quantcast is adding CCPA support to its successful Quantcast Choice platform for the web while both companies will power in-app privacy choices via a new solution: Choice Powered by Kochava and Quantcast. Together, the solutions allow brands and publishers to empower consumers to make privacy decisions whether they engage with them on the web or via mobile apps.
Both companies have been working with the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) in the US and the IAB Europe to ensure a deep understanding of compliance frameworks for CCPA and GDPR. Choice complies with the IAB standards, making the solution the first offering of its kind for CCPA, which came into effect on January 1, 2020.

“Privacy and consent are essential no matter what screen consumers engage with,” said Charles Manning, Founder and CEO of Kochava. “As digital advertising expands across desktop, mobile and OTT, a unified consent framework for all ecosystem partners is critical in supporting the ever-evolving compliance paradigm. Quantcast was the perfect partner to further enhance our existing suite of data privacy tools and provide a single solution between market leaders.”
The announcement builds on the 2018 launch of Quantcast Choice, which quickly became Europe’s leading IAB-compliant Consent Management Platform (CMP) for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Directive (ePD). The Quantcast and Kochava partnership will also support the upcoming version 2.0 of IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework across web and mobile apps.
Choice offers a scalable, easy-to-use solution for privacy management in mobile apps, with dynamic operation based on local regulations, platform requirements and publisher-specific configurations.
