NetBrain Technologies, the pioneer of Agentic NetOps, announced the results of a Forrester Consulting Total Economic Impact™ study that documents the cost savings and business benefits customers have realized using the NetBrain platform. This commissioned study, conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of NetBrain in 2026, calculated that the NetBrain platform deployed at a composite organization of $5B in revenue and 25,000 employees across 100 locations had a risk adjusted 241% return on investment and a $5.9M net present value over three years. As enterprise networks get more complex and span multiple vendors, tools and domains, technology leaders are looking to platforms like NetBrain to reduce and prevent costly network outages. This study provides an example of how NetBrain can help customers improve their performance while simultaneously generating a compelling business case.

Forrester interviewed six decision-makers from five organizations across a variety of industries with experience using the NetBrain platform and combined their experiences into the composite organization. Using the inputs from these interviews, Forrester Consulting calculated the benefits, costs, and risks of the NetBrain platform. These interviews were conducted before NetBrain’s Agent Team was broadly adopted, and early data from customers that have deployed the Agent Team shows those capabilities are driving significantly greater ROI on core metrics like MTTR and change velocity and safety.

“We’re thrilled to see these results – they quantify how our platform is helping enterprises with mission-critical networks avoid outages, reduce costs, and deliver greater speed and flexibility to the business in quantifiable customer-backed metrics,” said Luvlynn Lee, Chief Customer Officer at NetBrain Technologies. “We expect customers will see even greater benefits as they adopt our newer agentic AI capabilities.”

Key Findings: Benefits were significant across all aspects of network operations both improving performance and reducing the time and effort required, including:

  • Reduced mean time to resolution (MTTR) for troubleshooting network incidents at scale by 70%.
  • Reduced downtime for significant network events by 70%.
  • Reduced change execution and validation effort for device configuration changes by 85%.
  • Improved network operations team productivity by 25%.

“Agentic NetOps platforms can help enterprises reduce troubleshooting effort for network incidents, protect revenue from network-related downtime, automate configuration changes across networked devices, and reallocate members of the network management team for higher-value-added projects.”
