ViON Names Nicolas Nowinski Vice President of Information Technology and Security
ViON, a cloud service provider and market leader in the design, delivery and maintenance of mission-critical IT infrastructure solutions, announced it has hired Nicolas Nowinski as Vice President of Information Technology and Security. In this new role, Nowinski will lead the business technology group, ensuring that ViON continues to have the right systems, processes and standards to consistently support its customers as the market changes.

As Vice President of Information Technology and Security, Nowinski will ensure that ViON has the most up-to-date, reliable and maintainable technology and systems across the entire operation. He will evaluate the current methodology and find ways to ensure that the team’s solutions work well across operations, security, service and support so ViON can continually fulfill its promise to support customers in pursuit of their mission success.

Most recently, Nicolas served as a Technical Architect at Microsoft where he worked with customers to build technical strategies and architectures for the Cloud. Prior to being a Technical Architect, he was a delivery lead and senior consultant where he managed implementation teams for a variety of enterprise projects. While working in services at Microsoft he led the integration effort for the Illinois Department of Corrections as they became the first state to deploy an all-cloud prison management system.
