Accenture Completes Acquisition of Analytics8, Australian Analytics and Data Specialists
Accenture has completed its acquisition of Analytics8, a privately held Australian big data and analytics consultancy that is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

The transaction, first announced on August 15, 2019, strengthens Accenture’s capabilities to deliver AI-powered data and advanced analytics services to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 2002, Analytics8 provides data management, reporting and visualisation, data science and analytics services to some of Australia’s largest organisations across multiple industries. Analytics8’s Melbourne and Sydney-based team of 70 professionals will join Accenture Applied Intelligence, which uses artificial intelligence-powered data, automation and analytics to help clients transform their businesses.
