“Data is the lifeblood of business in the 21st century, and Abhijit understands that both technology and process are needed to leverage data in a transformational way,” commented Sundaresan. “His leadership and skills in this discipline will benefit our clients, our employees, and our strategic partners.”
Companies are increasingly investing in data and analytics initiatives to improve the customer experience and drive business growth, but often lack the resources and expertise. In fact, Gartner has predicted that, by 2020, “80% of organizations will initiate deliberate competency development in the field of data literacy, acknowledging their extreme deficiency.” In his role, Abhijit will lead Altimetrik’s efforts to develop a full suite of data and analytics capabilities to better service its clients who are moving forward with data-centric initiatives and developing data ecosystems to grow their business.
“Altimetrik is one of the few companies to realize that data is the key that can unlock businesses stuck in old ways of thinking and working,” said Sahay. “Transforming businesses requires helping leaders see the enormous value hiding in plain sight within their company – their data. I am pleased to be a part of Altimetrik’s future growth.”
