Winding Tree, the Ethereum-powered, travel distribution channel, announces the appointment of Eric Leopold to a general advisory role. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in air-travel solutions and business leadership, Leopold will amplify the company’s push to transform the travel industry with blockchain.
Before joining Winding Tree, Leopold spent 15 years at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where he served as Director of Financial and Distribution Systems Transformation. At IATA, he worked alongside major airliners, travel agents, technology companies, and airports to boost the organization’s strategy, industry standards, and communication. More recently, Leopold launched an advisory-services company, Threedot, to drive innovation within air travel.

At Winding Tree, Leopold will survey the landscape of the existing travel industry to keep up with the latest developments and ensure the company improves every aspect of the travel experience.
