“This is exciting for us as we continue to innovate and consider the variability of all learners,” says Jacob Makuvire, CEO of SWYE360 Learning. “Our mission is to provide great teaching to all students regardless of their background, geographic location, and or social-economic status. Technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformational and this partnership validates our mission, where educators will be able to integrate research-based learning strategies including Cognition, Social and Emotional Learning, and Student backgrounds.”
“We are excited to partner with SWYE360, because we see the potential to positively impact learners, in terms of supporting learner variability, in unique and creative ways. We are aligned in our vision of promoting anywhere anytime learning, fostering learner agency, and embracing a whole child framework as visualized in our Learner Models,” says Dr. Trisha Callella.

The Learner Variability Project (LVP) team works at the intersection of researchers, educators, and edtech developers to design and develop a more rich and equitable education for each learner. The learning sciences research foundation of the Learner Models will serve as a signal that SWYE360 is grounded in research-based design. This partnership is intended to focus on the design and development of additional features that serve the whole learner by supporting learner variability across cognitive, social emotional learning, and student background factors.
