Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis, the only Midwest annual end-to-end design and manufacturing event bringing together Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M), Automation Technology Expo (ATX), Design & Manufacturing (D&M), MinnPack, and Plastec under one roof, announces confirmation of its featured agenda speakers. Mark Wehde, chair of the Mayo Clinic Division of Engineering, and John Ellis, futurist and former global technologist with Ford Motor Company, are confirmed to keynote at Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis Nov. 2-3 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Each keynote will focus on the future of manufacturing in different verticals such as medical and transportation and will be available in-person only at the event. .

Automotive engineering expert Ellis will present Driving the Next Phase in Automotive Manufacturing, on Nov. 3 at 12:30 p.m. in the Engineering Theater. Ellis will discuss how engineers use manufacturing technologies to advance sustainability and connectivity in the automotive world. This keynote will review tools such as additive manufacturing, 3D printing, sensors, and IoT to stay ahead of the curve with automotive advancements.
