  • Collaboration aims to demonstrate that Qapter Intelligent Estimating can be used to automate claims processing

Solera I Audatex, the world’s leading provider of data, applications and services to the insurance and automotive industries, announced a collaboration with AMAG Import AG, Switzerland’s most comprehensive and best-positioned mobility provider, to test its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based claims estimating solution Qapter Intelligent Estimating. Following the initial pilot, the partners plan to assess the extent to which the solution can efficiently optimize accident claims recognition and reduce complexity.

“At the AMAG Group, satisfied customers have always been our top priority in claims handling. That’s why we are constantly on the lookout for innovations that will enable us to improve the customer experience even further. In AI, we see a real opportunity to be able to process uncomplicated claims automatically in the future, and thus also process them faster. Qapter’s AI-based pre-calculation demonstrates a necessary level of consistency and accuracy, allowing us to save valuable time in the future,” said Roger Allenspach, Senior Market Manager ADM, AMAG Import. “We are very happy to be able to count on Solera as a professional partner for this important step into the future and looking forward to the promising rollout of this VI solution.”

The pilot project with the first service partners went live within a short timeframe. Following a short training phase, the service and bodywork partners from the AMAG network worked with the AI-based calculation and were impressed by the first results. Solera’s AI is being tested for tasks such as parts and damage identification, determining the extent of damage, making repair decisions, determining repair times, and accurate total cost estimation.

Qapter Intelligent Estimating is the latest collaboration in which the two partners aim to seamlessly integrate the latest technologies and AI innovations into claims processing.
