Marcus Taylor, the award-winning Founder & CEO of Venture Harbour, says “When I built my first website in 2002, I remember being completely overwhelmed by the range of options and the jargon. Today, there are more options than ever before, which can be paralyzing for a first-timer. We built Winnie to help people overcome this and get their website up and running faster so that they can get on with sharing their idea with the world.”
A study by Yodel, points out that 52% of small businesses still don’t have a website, mainly because majority business owners lack the technical knowledge on how to get started. Winnie aims to solve this by matching a person up with the web hosting service that is best suited to them, based on their answers to a series of simple questions.

Winnie takes the lead in guiding you through the conversation and process by asking questions like “Are you looking to launch a new website or move an existing one to a new host?” or “try telling me whether you want the cheapest web hosting or WordPress hosting with a good uptime. Also, you can ask Winnie questions like “What’s the cheapest way to get my website up?” or “Can you show me three options of web hosts that offer a free domain name?” and Winnie will provide you with an answer.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
