The Only Company to Receive Differentiated Ratings in Vision, Road Map and Market Approach

Box a leader in Cloud Content Management, announced that it was named a Leader in “The Forrester New Wave: Cloud Content Platforms Multitenant SaaS, Q3 2019” report by Forrester. Box received differentiated ratings in vision, road map and market approach, the only company to receive this score in all three criteria.

According to Forrester, the market for content services platform is undergoing a significant shift: “Two markets have collided. Traditional enterprise content management (ECM) vendors are rearchitecting their platforms to be cloud native, while vendors with heritage in cloud enterprise file sync and share have pivoted to broader content repository services. This market overlap has resulted in a new segment: cloud content platforms.”

In this emerging market, Forrester scores Box as a leader and specifically states that Box “Leads the pack with collaboration, security, and governance capabilities. Box offers comprehensive collaboration and document repository services buoyed by robust security capabilities such as key management and anomaly detection. Box prioritizes data center and infrastructure certifications.”
