CaroMont Health Selects Ludi to Launch Mobile Platform for Physician Time Tracking & Payment
CaroMont Health, a regional not-for-profit health care system in North Carolina, has partnered with Ludi, Inc., a health care technology and physician-advocacy firm, to implement a digital platform that automates the way CaroMont tracks and pays medical teams for their administrative time. Known as DocTime Log, Ludi’s technology will also help optimize CaroMont’s physician spend year-round through ongoing data analytics and auditing capabilities.
For most hospitals, tracking physician administrative time is a paper-based operation that must follow Federal and state laws, making it a necessary, yet cumbersome process. Ludi’s software streamlines this, increasing transparency in the physician-payment process, so hospitals reduce costs, improve operations, drive compliance and build physician trust.
“Our team’s primary purpose is to provide exceptional patient care,” said Ryan Campbell, VP of Operations at CaroMont Health’s Medical Group. “Knowing their time is precious, our goal was clear: implement a smart technology that alleviates the taxing hours spent on administrative paperwork. In Ludi, we found a likeminded partner that helps us achieve this, and a team that understands the long-term challenges hospitals face in partnering with physicians.”
“CaroMont Health is 100 percent dedicated to putting physicians first,” said Gail Peace, Founder & CEO of Ludi. “They know that by creating strategies to lessen the administrative burden placed on doctors, they will have much more energy to focus on their passion: helping patients.”
